I love working with my littlest clients as they grow. Remember the adorable baby images of Dante? You can see them here. Mom asked me to come back for a Lenses of Love session to raise money for orphans in Haiti and to update Dante’s pictures because he is one now! This little guy is just scrumptious … and his parents have an awesome home to take pictures in. Enjoy!

This is one of the first family sessions I had after returning from Santa Barbara … and I loved every minute of it! I love spending time with families. It is a gift each family shares with me … a little sliver of time never to be regained, but to be treasured forever with beautiful images. Eli’s Mom and Dad love this little guy so much and he was a delight to hang with. I love, love, love this age. Perhaps because I am in the midst of it with my own daughter, or perhaps because toddlers this age are just yummy and hysterical and fun to be around. I loved seeing the world through Eli’s eyes, and I know you will, too!

This is Montana. Her session was a surprise for her mommy and daddy so I’m hoping you can keep a secret! Aunt Shelly called me to take pictures while Montana stayed with her for the weekend. Shelly had pics of her boys taken last fall and was tickled with them … so while mom and dad attended an out-of-state wedding we snuck this in. Can’t wait for them to see (Aunt Shelly promised mom and dad weren’t stalking my blog yet, so I think I’m safe). Montana’s cousin is featured at the top of this blog (the sweet little boy with the HUGE blue eyes) … cuteness must run in the family. Here you go, Shelly!

For the first time since I started my business, I had to go back and take a couple extra shots. My camera did some funky something with all the whites in the pictures and I wanted to make sure I got the best pictures of this cutie (lucky for me his parents were SO gracious). I took along my assistant (6 year-old Decker) to help me snap a few extra shots. While it didn’t exactly “backfire” on me, it was so awesome to see how much little Jack loved Decker. And doing the re-shoot gave me a few of my favorite pictures to date!
